PLEASE bring a fully charged battery for your laptop. Even though I'll bring some extension cords and power strips, there are limited outlets in the room.

Last, if you have anything you'd like me to attempt to cover, send it to me ASAP and/or stop and visit.
Thursday and tomorrow (Tuesday) are Podcasts instead of in-person lectures (see calendar). You can find the Podcasts under the specific topic pages.... in the same place you find lecture slides. For those of you that means nothing to... here's a video:
https://forum.bluezone.usu.edu/gis/. However, the forum IS athttp://forum.bluezone.usu.edu/gis/.
There are security add-ins for both Chrome and Firefox that attempt to assign most or all URLs to secure https for conservative security measures and to prevent you from using regular http. The problem is NOT all websites are set up to deliver content in both traditional http or https and our forum is not. You should be able to override this by retyping the URL in the search bar or changing your add-in or browser settings.
If you are unable to make the first class, read through the Day 1 lecture slides (see slide 97 for quiz 1 - due Tuesday), take care of the initial logistics homework, complete the reading assignment, and you'll be fine for next week. There will be no lab this week on account of starting lecture on Thursday. Labs will begin next week after Tuesday's lecture (January 13th).
Hey all,Lab 10 requires Matlab which is installed on the Quinney Computers. For this last lab, if you don't have access to Matlab somewhere else, you will need to use the Quinney computers or the open access PC lab in engineering to run the utilization model. Lab 10 is due March 28 at 5pm.
Hey all,Great work everyone!
Blimp images from last week's flights have been posted to the Lab 9 webpage.
Just a reminder, there is no lecture today! Watch the podcast instead. You can find it and the lecture slides in the Topic Pages or watch the video here:
