Guide for writing a manuscript

As you being your projects, you may (like me) wonder, "Where do I start writing?". Well I have a guide that was recommended to me that I've found useful and prevents some common content mistakes I tend to make. It comes from an article written to a journal titled "How To Write Backwards". There are only 5 rules/steps. I also have to make sure to write out all my topic sentences before I write the rest of the body of a section, because this method doesn't work without well-outlined paragraphs.
If you find yourself stuck at any point in the writing process, let me know! Fresh eyes and a fresh mind are always helpful! Also you might check out these guys. They are especially good for clarity and other technical aspects.
